She creates gentle, story-rich illustrations using pencil and paint, inspired by nature and the hidden magic in our everyday lives.  

Hilary has illustrated over 12 picture books, published by Hachette, Allen & Unwin, Affirm/Simon & Schuster, Gecko Press and others. Her work has been recognised by the Australian Book Industry Awards as Best Children's Picture Book, Storylines Book Awards and Foreverability Book Awards.
